The investigation done by the NCAA affects other USC sports programs including the men's basketball team and the women's tennis program. The NCAA found recruiting violations in the case of basketball player O.J. Mayo. Sports betting enthusiasts will recall that both the men's baskeball coach Tim Floyd and men's football coach Pete Carroll are no longer with the USC programs. The NCAA included fines of $5,000 to the men's basketball team, the forfeiture of over $200,000 in revenue from the 2008 basketball season and $1,700 in fines to the women's tennis team. USC had already forfeited all wins from the 2007-2008 season that O.J. Mayo participated in. Reggie Bush has been reported as being disappointed by the decision, but he has yet to talk to the NCAA directly. |

The NCAA released the findings of their investigation into the conduct of the USC Trojans since 2005, including incidents involving gifts and cash for Reggie Bush. The NCAA has placed a two year ban on football scholarships and post-season play for the Trojans beginning in 2011 and running to the end of the 2013 season. The Trojans are also forced to forfeit their 2005 win in the Orange Bowl over the Oklahoma Sooners that gave the Trojans the national championship.
