| Patrick Crayton Unhappy in Dallas | |
|
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton has made it very clear that he is unhappy with the decisions that the Dallas Cowboys are making at wide receiver. With rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant on his way to possibly competing for the number two receiver spot on the roster behind Miles Austin, it looks like Sam Hurd and Patrick Crayton could be knocked further down the depth chart. Hurd has made no complaints and is spending his time at Valley Ranch during voluntary team workouts recovering from thumb surgery. Crayton has not shown up for workouts, and has indicated that he has no intention on showing up at all. In 2009, Crayton had 37 receptions for 622 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was on the Dallas roster for all 16 games and the playoffs last season, and right now the Dallas depth chart has Crayton as second string on the right side to Miles Austin. Roy Williams is currently listed at the starting wide receiver on the left side with Sam Hurd as second string. It has been reported by ESPN that Crayton has requested a trade, and that he has no intentions on joining the Dallas Cowboys for workouts or training camp. |
