Flozell Adams to Denver?

Flozell Adams

Former Dallas Cowboy offensive lineman Flozell Adams has visited the Denver Broncos, and could be in negotiations to sign with Denver prior to the opening of training camp. The Broncos may be in the market for some depth at offensive line while they wait for Ryan Clady to heal from knee surgery.

Adams is 35 years old, and he could either be a starter for the first part of the season for the Broncos, or he could be asked to be a back-up and mentor to offensive linemen Tyler Polumbus and Maurice Williams. Both Polumbus and Williams have experience in playing for the injured Clady in the past.

The Dallas Cowboys started the sports betting world guessing when they released Adams with no clear starter to replace him. The NFL Las Vegas picks entusiasts were further confused when the Cowboys did not draft a starting offensive lineman early in the 2010 NFL draft.

The Broncos are one team that is rumored to have interest in Adams. Other potential employers in 2010 for Flozell Adams include the Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins.
